Economy, Promotion and Tourism Minister visits Biohydro.cl
Last 10th December we were visited by the Economy, Promotion and Tourism Minister, Mr. Luis Felipe Céspedes Cifuentes, accompanied by ProChile Director, Mr. Roberto Páiva, and EMT Division Chief, Ms. Alejandra Dagnino.
During the visit, our General Manager Mr. José Luis Arenas spoke about our motivations and business achievements, after which the Minister addressed our staff praising our development model and putting it as a good example to follow to change the productive matrix of our country. Visit ended with a tour of our facilities.

In september 2015 Biohydro.cl once again sponsored the Heap Leach Solutions Internacional Conference that gathered more than 190 attendees at Reno, NV.

Biohydro.cl was part of the chilean delegation in AIMEX 2015
Between 1 and 4 September in Sidney took place AIMEX, the largest mining exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region with more than 12,000 visitors.
As part of its internationalization process Biohydro.cl participated of the national delegation and it had its own booth at the Chilean pavilion of the event. We thank those who came to our booth to meet us and discuss about our solutions and services.

Biohydro.cl sponsors and presents two papers in Hydroprocess 2015
Between July 22 and 24, the 7th version of Hydroprocess was held in the city of Antofagasta, Chile's mining pole. This time, the scientific meeting brought together over 270 attendees and featured more than 60 presentations by authors of international level.
Once again, Biohydro.cl participated as a sponsor of the event and presented at its booth the latest version of Leachtrol® system for advanced management of the leaching process, controlling remotely and in real-time a test pilot plant at our facilities in Iquique.
Also, for the first time, two papers were presented in the technical sessions. In “Controlled Wetting: Key to maintain leach pad permeability and thus ensure production” the Cluster Project experience in conjunction with BHP Billiton regarding the industrial test of the wetting process with Leachtrol® at Compañía Minera Cerro Colorado was presented. "One step forward: Automating heap leaching advanced irrigation techniques" covered new features of Leachtrol®: self-calibration and uniform low rate irrigation using double circuit equipment, both to enable the automation of advanced irrigation techniques for heap leaching.

In November 2014, the international congress Heap Leach Solutions was held at Lima, Perú gathering more than 150 attendees.
Biohydro.cl could not be absent and we participated as a sponsor of the event, allowing us to share with the representatives of the mining and engineering companies as well as with the academics of the area our main developments and successful cases in the heap leaching process.
Our new smart automated monitoring and control system for the irrigation program Leachtrol® was especially emphasized. Versatility and reliability of the system enables advanced process management in levels that could not be achieved with the technologies and devices commonly used by industry.
We thank everyone who shared with us their needs, projects and concerns in this great instance of technical coexistence.
Distinguished participation of Biohydro.cl in Hydroprocess 2014
In its sixth version, the International Seminar on Process Hydrometallurgy Hydroprocess 2014 gathered academics, suppliers, advisers and representatives from mining companies to present its expriences and share the latest progress in hydrometallurgy. The meeting was held from july 23rd to the 25th and took place at Viña del Mar, Chile being attended by more than 150 people coming from 18 countries.
Biohydro.cl, as a sponsor of the event, had a distinguished participation sharing its latest developments and success cases in the different fields of the industrial heap leaching process. This time, the interest was on Leachtrol® the new smart automated monitoring and control system for the leaching program. This, as well as other developments within its history, has positioned Biohydro.cl as a strategic partner to address the major challenges of the industry.
